Powell, E.C - 8'6" 2/1 5wt Bamboo Rod (Maslan-era) (On Hold)

For sale here is an E.C. Powell 8'6" 2-piece / 1-tip bamboo rod in good, refinished condition. Completely rewrapped, although some of the intermediates on the butt section may be original. Bright ferrule fit perfectly, and the sections are full length. The tip has a slight fish fighting set. The patent script is rewritten, and the hook keeper (small snake guide) has the black & white bands indicating a semi-hollow rod. 6.5" grip is smooth with light soiling, and the rod is fitted with the standard Powell reel seat. Weight is 4 1/8oz. Action on the medium side of medium fast, it feels like a B-taper. The wraps are a few shades too red to be confused as original, but it's a very fishable 8'6" Powell. Sold in a replacement bag and tube.
