For sale here is an Orvis Midge, 7'6" 2-piece / 2-tip 4/5wt bamboo rod. Serial #43454, made in 1966. The rod is built on an impregnated blank, featuring bright guides wrapped in transparent caramel windings. 11/64 step down ferrules fit perfectly. The sections are straight and serialized, although one tip is down ~3.5". U-shaped hook keeper, 6" cigar grip and down-locking aluminum reel seat over wood spacer. It comfortably casts both 4 and 5wt lines. A well used but very serviceable rod at a reasonable price. Sold in the original bag and tube (sans label).
