For sale here is an Orvis Battenkill Lightweight fly reel in very good used condition. Made in England by J.W. Young. 3 1/4" diameter, spool width is 9/16" and the reel catalog weight is 4 1/4oz (actual weight is 5.48oz loaded with line and backing). Currently set up RHW, the line guard is reversible, and the retrieve can be swapped by flipping the pawl, but in reality the reel works best RHW. Adjustable drag works as intended, and the reel shows signs of honest use to the rims and reel foot. A fine example, ready to fish. Sold in the original square vinyl case with Orvis logo in gold.
