Kusse, Ron - 8' 3/2 6wt "Black Troll" Bamboo Rod

For sale here is a Ron Kusse 8' 6wt, 3-piece / 2-tip "Black Troll" bamboo rod in excellent used condition (serial #0237). A striking rod, reminiscent of the Leonard "Hunt" series. Featuring darkly flamed cane and dark oxidized guides wrapped in blood red windings, triple banded at the hook keeper and male ferrules. The deeply blued ferrules fit perfectly and the butt ferrule retains the Kusse roll stamp. All section are full length and the mid has a very subtle set near the female ferrule. Handsome swelled butt leads into the 5.5" cigar grip. Blued cap & ring reel seat over a fine maple burl spacer. The butt cap has the Kusse roll stamp and shows some bluing loss from use. Strong medium fast action, it casts a 6wt very well, though some may prefer it with a DT7. Scripted weight on the hang tag is 4 1/8oz, but my scale has it just under 5oz.  Sold in original black crinkle finish aluminum tube with bag & hang tag and Ron Kusse hat pin.
