For sale here is a Kagerow Main River 7'8" 3/2 4wt made by Hideto Ishida. Near mint condition, the rod appears to be lawn cast only. The only sign of age is some light cosmetic cracks in the ferrule wraps. Medium flamed cane with oxidized snake guides and carbide stripper. Crimson silk wraps with dark tipping. Blued ferrules fit perfectly and the females are fitted with cork & wood ferrule plugs. All sections are straight & full length. Signature and model info is scripted on the butt section. 6" cork grip is smooth and bright, and the rod is fitted with a blued cap & ring reel seat over stacked bamboo spacer. Kagerow rods are known for their labor intensive 3-month Urushi lacquer finish, and the finish on this rod is perfect. Weight is 3.81oz. Medium fast, progressive action. A beautiful 4wt dry fly rod. Sold in the original bag and tube with maker's decal affixed.
