For sale here is a Homer Jennings 7'9" 2/2 5wt bamboo rod in excellent used condition. Wheat straw colored cane with 3-up nodes, oxidized snake guides and agate stripping guide. Wraps are olive with dark brown tipping. All sections are straight, full length and serialized (#685), and the tips are marked for ease of rotation. Swiss-style ferrules fit perfectly. A swelled butt leads into the 6" cork grip (smooth with just a hint of soiling), and the rod is fitted with a cap & ring reel seat over mortised wood spacer. Weight is 4.24oz. A medium fast action rod with a delightful progressive taper. Sold in the original bag and brass capped tube.
