For sale here is a 6'9" 2pc 4/5wt Hexagraph fly rod made in Chico CA by Harry Briscoe. An unusual Hexagraph, apparently made from a stash of original un-painted blanks made by Walton Powell. Harry finished the blank and labeled it as a "Walton Powell Natural". Dark green blank with bright guides wrapped in claret windings. Nickel silver ferrules fit perfectly. The original owner's name is inked on the butt section above the hook keeper. 7.5" cork grip is smooth and clean, and the rod is fitted with an up-locking gunmetal anodized reel seat over wood spacer. A smooth caster, I find it to be a true 4/5wt. Weight is 2.67oz. Sold in the original bag and tube.
