For sale here is a beautiful 2 7/8" widespool Perfect fly reel from the bench of Chris Henshaw. LHW only with nickel silver line guard. The reel features bright aluminum frame and spool with fully engraved winding plate by Italian engraver Luca Braschi. Ventilated aluminum foot, Micarta handle grasp with knurled brass receiver, and the reel is fitted with the rather desirable 1912 check mechanism. Strap-over tensioner works as intended with strong check throughout its range. Near mint condition, there are some minor handling marks, but I doubt the reel was ever used. 3" diameter with a spool width of 0.76", weight is 8.61oz. A stunning trout reel, probably best with a 4 or 5wt line.
