Hardy - Uniqua 3 1/8" Fly Reel

For sale here is a nice Hardy Uniqua 3 1/8" fly reel in good used condition. Featuring telephone-style spool latch, solid spool, free spinning ebonite handle (faded to a dull brown), and unaltered ribbed brass foot. The rim mounted tensioner works as intended and the spare pawl is engageable. Stamped internally "W.S." (Wilf Sinton). The leaded finish has worn to a light gray and there are small nicks and scratches throughout. Minimal line burn with smooth edges. Mechanically quite smooth with a slight bit of end play, commonly seen on Uniquas of the era. The ideal size to pair with most 4 or 5wt cane rods.
