For sale here is a Scientific Anglers System 7 fly reel, made in England by Hardy Bros. Reel is in very good used condition, showing only minor cosmetic edge wear. Spools are interchangeable with the Hardy Marquis #7, this reel is suitable for most 5-6wt lines (official capacity = WF6 + 115yds). Reversible U-shaped line guard, the reel can easily be swapped LHW/RHW with the flip of a pawl. This reel was recently serviced and fitted with a replacement check spring by Hardy's in Alnwick. Sold in original blue vinyl case with box and manual.
