For sale here is a 3 1/8" Hardy Perfect fly reel with the desirable 1912 check mechanism. Excellent used condition, RHW. Featuring dark leaded finish, unmolested smooth brass foot and ivorine handle grasp. Strap-over tensioner works as intended and the 1912 check has a delightful click & excellent range. All parts are stamped internally "2". 4-cusp spool with reverse-threaded retaining screw. Mechanically tight with only minor signs of use; not bad for a 100+ year old reel! Weight is 5.82oz loaded with backing. A fine example, ready to fish. Sold in a modern neoprene pouch.
