Godfrey, Ted - Restigouche Spey Reel w/ Spare Spool

For sale here is a Ted Godfrey "Restigouche" 3 3/4" spey/salmon reel with spare spool, in excellent used condition. An early reel of Ted's, made in 1989, it measures 3 3/4" across the sideplates and 1.375" across the pillars. RHW, serial #B2009. The reel is beautifully machined of bar stock aluminum and anodized gold with black sideplates. Easy spool removal and 11-position adjustable cork drag, the reel was purpose built for tackling big fish on two-handed rods. The reel shows some cosmetic wear to the rims, but otherwise excellent. Stated capacity is for a WF9 + 300yds of 30lb. The spare spool appears to have seen little use, and both spool and reel come in the original suede drawstring pouch. This reel was recently serviced at the Godfrey shop and is ready to hit the water!
