For sale here is a 7'10" 2 piece / 2-tip 5wt 'Kishacoquillas' Bamboo rod made by Curt Elder. New condition, as delivered from the maker. Featuring flamed cane with 3x3 nodes and oxidized guides with red agate stripping guide. Wraps are transparent with oxblood tipping. All sections are straight, full length & serialized, and the ferrules fit perfectly. The female ferrule it fitted with a NS and walnut ferrule plug. Strap & ring hook keeper, 6" cork grip (clean & smooth) and up-locking reel seat over claro walnut spacer. The reel seat collar retains the maker's stamp. Rod weight is 4.7oz. A powerful 5wt with action on the faster side of medium fast. This is a progressive action rod, based on a calculated Garrison taper. A smooth and accurate caster with impeccable finishes. Sold in the original bag and tube with heavy brass hardware and maker's data label affixed.
