Elder, Curt - 8'3" 2/2 4wt Hollow Built Bamboo Rod

For sale here is an 8'3" 2 piece / 2-tip 4wt hollow built rod by Curt Elder. New condition, as delivered from the maker. Featuring medium flamed cane with 3x3 nodes and oxidized guides with red agate stripping guide. Wraps are transparent with oxblood tipping. All sections are straight, full length & serialized, and the ferrules fit perfectly. The female ferrule it fitted with a NS and walnut ferrule plug. Strap & ring hook keeper, NS checks, 6" cork grip and cap & ring reel seat over claro walnut spacer. The maker's stamp is clean and crisp on the butt cap. Scripted and actual weight is 3.8oz. Medium fast action, very smooth with a DT4 and the rod feels light in the hand. The finish is beautiful, and the rod is ready to hit the river. Sold in the original bag and brass capped tube with Elder's gold data decal.
