Dingley / Army Navy Stores - 3" Perfect-style Fly Reel

For sale here is a Dingley-made 3" Perfect style fly reel, branded for Army & Navy Stores, Ltd. Very good original condition except for the smooth brass foot has been neatly filed on both ends (overall length is 2.5"). Dark leaded finish remains mostly intact, and the strap-over tensioner works as intended. Erinoid handle grasp spins freely and is mounted in a smooth brass receiver. Minor signs of honest use, with some light file marks to the frame where the foot was altered. Ported spool with reverse-threaded nickel silver retaining screw. Frame, spool, and foot are stamped with a "6" and the frame sports the classic Dingley "D". A nice looking reel and mechanically tight. Ready to hit the water.
