Dickerson, Lyle - Model 7612, 7'6" 2/2 5wt Bamboo Rod

For sale here is a Dickerson 7612, 7'6" 2/2 5wt bamboo rod. Excellent used condition, all original except the stripping guide has been rewrapped and the top snake guide on the butt section has been partially rewrapped. Medium tempered cane with bronzed snake guides and carbide stripper. Wraps are transparent brown with black tipping. All sections are full length and the rod measures closer to 7'5" fully assembled (this is not terribly uncommon on Dickerson rods). Both tips measure about 0.3" longer than the butt section, and the tips have light fish fighting sets. 12/64 ferrules fit perfectly. The butt section retains the Dickerson signature and model number, and the original owners name is on the opposing flat with the build year of 1946. Bent loop hook keeper, nickel silver winding check and 5.6" cork grip with down-locking reel seat. The cork is soiled with light ridging. Weight is 3.74oz. Medium fast action, best with a 5wt. A spectacular taper from one of the original masters of the craft. Sold in the original bag and brass capped tube.
