Cozzone - 60yd Marbleized Trout Reel

For sale here is a rare marbleized Cozzone 60yd fly reel in very good used condition. Oxblood & black marbleized Bakelite (not as pronounced as the more famous Philbrook & Payne reels, but still a beautiful coloration). Counterbalanced nickel silver handle with ivorroid grasp and fixed RHW check.   The back of the reel features a nickel silver oil cap & star washer, and the on/off clicker works as intended. The Cozzone logo is crisp and clear on the face plate. 2 1/4" diameter with a spool width of 1", the reel weighs 4.09oz. The only condition notes I have are some tool marks on one end of the reel foot and a tiny chip to the Bakelite around one of the reel foot screws on the back. I would characterize both as minor cosmetic issues. The Cozzone reels enjoyed a short production run beginning in the early 1920's and ending with the onset of the Great Depression in the early 1930's. Cozzone trout reels are cherished by collectors and the marbleized reels are particularly rare.
