Brooks, Mike - 7'6" 2/2, 4-5wt Payne 100 Taper Bamboo Rod

For sale here is a 7'6" 2/2 Payne 100 taper bamboo rod made by Mike Brooks. Excellent used condition. Flamed cane with 3x3 nodes, oxidized snake guides and agate stripping guide wrapped in dark chestnut silks with gold tipping. 13/64 ferrules fit perfectly. All sections are full length and free of repairs, and both tips have light fish-fighting sets. U-shaped hook keeper and blued nickel silver winding check. 6" grip is smooth with light soiling, and the rod is fitted with a cap & ring reel seat over mortised wood spacer. Weight is 3.27oz. Action on the medium side of medium fast, I prefer it with a DT4 but some might like it with a 5wt line. Sold in the original bag and brass capped tube.
