Bradley, J.L. - "Para 14", 8'3" 2/2 5wt Bamboo Rod

For sale here is an 8'3" 2/2 5wt "Para 14" taper from the bench of Joe Bradley. Modified from the PHY Para 14 taper, this is a longer version with a highly parabolic character. Excellent used condition. Built on a lightly tempered blank with 3x3 nodes. Lightly oxidized snake guide and red agate stripping guide, wrapped in transparent tan windings with dark tipping. All sections are full length and serialized (S-13), and both sets have slight fish-fighting sets. Ferrule fit perfectly and the female is fitted with a bamboo and cork ferrule plug. 6" cork grip is smooth and slightly soiled. Genuine Bellinger nickel silver reel seat over mortised burl spacer. Weight is 4.41oz. A line-slinging 5wt that you can feel flex into the grip. It can handle shorter casts within 25' but it really shines at mid and long distances. Sold in the original bag and brass capped tube.
