For sale here is a 7'9" 3pc 4-5wt "General Practitioner" fiberglass from Chris Barclay. Mint condition, I see no sign the rod was ever fished. This is the model 79 from Chris' Synthesis series, serial #50-21. Built on an unsanded yellow E-glass blank with bright snake guides and red agate stripping guide wrapped with clear silks with chestnut brown accents. Tip over butt ferrules are witness marked for ease of alignment. 6.15" cork grip is clean and smooth, and the rod is fitted with a cap & ring reel seat over fine burl spacer. The reel seat hardware is made by Masatoshi Okui of Kineya reels. A great "general purpose" trout rod with medium-fast fiberglass action. I like it best with a DT4. Sold in the original bag and brass capped tube.
