For sale here is an 8'4" 4wt, 2-piece / 2-tip hollow built bamboo rod from the bench of Chris Vance. Mint condition. Featuring flamed cane with light wire snake guides and Mildrum stripping guide, wrapped in dark chestnut windings with black tipping. Micro-Swiss ferrules fit perfectly, and the female is fitted with an aluminum & cork ferrule plug. All sections are straight, full length and serialized (#418), and the tips are marked for ease of rotation. 3.114oz scripted and actual weight. Knurled cap & ring reel seat over mortised mahogany spacer. A fast action 4wt with crisp progressive taper and quick recovery. It's light in the hand and handles DT and WF lines. Chris Vance is known for making very refined hollow built rods, and they don't seem to last long on the secondary market. This one appears unused and is ready to ship today! Sold in the original bag with hangtag and brass capped tube with data label affixed.
