Tufts & Batson - 8' 3/2 5wt Bamboo Rod

For sale here is a Tufts & Batson 8' 3/2 5wt bamboo rod in excellent+ / near mint condition. Flamed bamboo with dark snake guides and red agate stripping guide. Wraps are jet black with bronze tipping. Bright ferrules fit perfectly, and the females are fitted with NS ferrule plugs. All sections are full length and dead straight. The varnish is perfect, and the rod appears to have seen very little use. 6" cork grip is bright and smooth, and the rod is fitted with a down-locking nickel silver reel seat over dark wood spacer. The butt cap retains the maker's stamp and serial number (#1204). Weight is 5.08oz. Medium action, it feels like it will cast a WF or DT5 nicely, although it may handle a DT6 as well. A beautiful Tufts & Batson rod in nearly new condition, sold in the original bag and brass capped tube.
