Thomas & Thomas - 50th Anniversary 7'6" 5wt 3/2 Bamboo Rod

For sale here is a very special Thomas & Thomas 50th anniversary 7'6" 3/2 5wt bamboo rod. Near mint/lawn cast only condition. Featuring blonde tempered cane with lightly oxidized guides and pale orange agate stripping guide. Wraps are transparent tan with light green tipping and orange & red accents. All sections are straight, full length and serialized (#9 of 10). Micro-Swiss ferrules fit perfectly, and the females are fitted with NS & cork ferrule plugs. Strap & ring hook keeper with knurled winding check and 6" cork grip. Cap & ring reel seat over cork spacer with bamboo splines to prevent the ring from digging in on the back side. The ferrules, butt cap and reel seat ring boast extensive engraving. The ring is stamped "1969" and the butt cap has the T&T Makers stamp and "50 Year Anniversary” on the bottom with gold inlay. Medium/medium fast progressive action with an elegant, swelled butt. Limited to 10 examples made to celebrate the storied brand's 50th year, this may be the finest deluxe edition ever produced by T&T. The rod packs into the original bag and shearling lined, saddle leather case. The tube packs into the original plastic bag and cardboard box.
