For sale here is an R.D. Taylor model 24-4, 7' 2/2 4wt bamboo rod in excellent used condition. Medium flamed cane, 3x3 nodes, dark snake guide and red agate stripping guide. Wraps are golden tan with red tipping and royal purple accents. All sections are straight, full length & serialized (#343). Blued ferrules fit perfectly. 5.5" grip is smooth with light soiling, and the rod is fitted with a cap & ring reel seat over fine wood spacer. The hardware bluing is in nice shape, and the butt cap retains the R.D. Taylor - Makers stamping. Weight is 3.01oz. Progressive action on the medium side of medium fast. A DT4 suits the 24-4 quite well, and this is a nice example of Bob Taylor's signature "Flametone" finish. Sold in the original bag and brass capped tube.
