Scott Fly Rods - F86, 8'6" 2pc 7wt Fiberglass Rod

For sale here is an original yellow glass Scott Powr-Ply F86, 8'6" 2pc 7wt fiberglass rod in very good used condition. Built on an unsanded blank with bright guides and golden tan windings, overwrapped at the guide feet. Spigot ferrules fit nicely, although there is almost no gap when fully seated. Serial #86-1534. 7.5" cork grip is smooth with light soling, and the rod is fitted with a gold anodized reel seat with the cork locking nut seen on some early Scott glass rods. A powerful 7wt, on the medium side of medium fast (especially for glass). A fine early Scott, made in San Francisco. Sold in a replacement bag and replacement leather clad tube.
