For sale here is a Sage LL 9' 5wt, 2 piece graphite fly rod in excellent used condition. This is from the first generation of Sage's storied Light Line rods, released in 1987. Dark burgundy sanded blank with matching windings & mauve tipping at the ferrule and signature wraps. Western style cork grip shows some soiling but is smooth with no nicks or chips. Nickel silver cap and ring reel seat with mortised wood spacer. These early LL's have a well deserved reputation for being some of the finest graphite rods ever produced. Comes with original sock and silver tube with distinct red lettering.
