For sale here is a very rare E.C. Powell "Accuracy" 8'6" 3/2 5wt bamboo rod in excellent condition. Semi-hollow, cedar core construction, medium toned cane with bright guides and red agate stripper. All the wraps are original except the stripper was rewrapped by Per Brandin. Bright ferrules fit perfectly, and all sections are straight & full length. The grip is mostly smooth with light soiling, and the rod has Powell's standard screw lock reel seat over Bakelite spacer. A B-taper Powell by measurement, medium fast action and best with a WF5. A factory made "Accuracy" rod with intact hang tag, an extremely rare feature. Sold in the original bag and brass capped tube.
