Orvis - S/S/S 8'9" 2/2 10wt Bamboo Rod

For sale here is an Orvis S/S/S (Saltwater, Salmon & Steelhead), 8'9" 2/2 10wt impregnated bamboo rod in excellent+ condition. Flamed cane, glued with resorcinol and treated with Orvis' patented impregnation process. High bridge carbide stripping guides on the butt and hard chrome snakes on the tips, all wrapped in chestnut brown windings. Sections are full length, straight and serialized (#66346). 6 7/8oz scripted and actual weight. The tips are ~3" longer than the butt section (made that way). 6.75" cork grip is smooth & clean and has a few digs towards the bottom, pushed in by the guides. Aluminum screw lock reel seat with fighting butt housed in the base of the reel seat. Made for a WF10F, the rod has a very powerful medium/medium fast action, and I suspect it would comfortably cast a modern WF9F saltwater line. Designed to hold up in harsh saltwater conditions, it would be a great option for big flies, big fish, and heavy lines. Sold in the original bag and tube with green/silver label. The tube cap is missing.
