Neuner, C.P. - 6'3" 2/2 4wt Bamboo Rod

For sale here is a 6‘3” 2/2 4wt from the bench of Chuck Neuner. Excellent+ condition, I see no obvious sign the rod was ever fished. Blonde oven-tempered cane with oxidized guides and transparent amber windings. Tips are book-matched, and all sections are straight, full length & serialized (#1811). Blued Super-Swiss ferrules fit perfectly with an aluminum & cork plug for the female. 6" cork grip is clean and smooth. The rod is fitted with blude nickel silver checks and cap and ring reel seat over Carpathian maple insert. The butt cap retains the maker stamp and the bluing shows just a hint of wear. Crisp, medium fast action, a faithful rendition of the Paul Young midge taper. Weight is 2.89 ounces. A very nice small stream wand from Mr. Neuner, sold in the original bag & tube.
