Menscer, D.W. (Little River Rods) - 8' 2/2 6wt Bamboo Rod

For sale here is an 8' 2/2 6wt bamboo rod from the bench of Dennis Menscer (Little River Rods). Nearly new with paper on the grip. I believe it has been lawn cast only, as there are faint mounting marks on the reel seat and a bit of bluing loss to the ferrules and reel seat hardware. Flamed finish with dark guides wrapped in oxblood silks & gold tipping. All sections are straight, full length and serialized (#9207). Ferrules fit perfectly and the tips are marked for ease of rotation. 6.75" grip, blued cap & ring reel seat over burl spacer. Blued nickel silver checks. Weight is 4.5oz (with the paper). Action on the faster side of medium fast. Strong in the butt, the tube sticker indicates a 5/6wt rod, but I think most will prefer it with a 6wt line. A nice-looking rod from Mr. Menscer, ready to fish or collect. Sold in the original bag and tube with maker's decal affixed.
