Leonard, H.L. - Duracane 850 SDF, 8'6" 2/2, 7wt Bamboo Rod

For sale here is an H.L. Leonard Duracane SDF (Salmon Dry Fly) 8'6" 2/2 7wt impregnated bamboo rod in excellent original condition. Medium tempered cane with dark guides and green wraps. 15/64 ferrules fit perfectly, and all sections are straight, full length & serialized. #1421, made in the early 1970's. 6.5" grip with fixed 2" fighting butt. All the cork is smooth with a hint of soiling. Up-locking aluminum reel seat with post-fire Leonard roll stamp on the collar. Weight is 5.25oz. Pleasant, progressive dry fly action. Action is medium fast with fine tips; it casts a triangle taper 7wt beautifully. Sold in the original bag and tube with stiffener.
