Kusse, Ron - 7' 3/2 4wt "Mirror Tips" Bamboo Rod

For sale here is a Ron Kusse "Mirror Tips" bamboo rod in very good used condition. 7' 3-piece/2-tip for a 4wt line, serial #9314 and the rod weighs 3.3oz. Featuring dark oxidized guides wrapped in pale honey silk with crimson accents. 3-up node spacing and Swiss-style ferrules, all sections are straight and full length and the tip tops are differentiated for ease of rotation. 5.25" cigar grip is smooth and shows minor soiling. Cap and ring reel seat over fine wood spacer, the reel seat hardware bears the makers roll stamp and shows some bluing loss. Many Kusse rods are most comfortable with 1 line heavier, but I find this rod to be a true 4wt, and a lively one at that. On the medium side of medium fast. One condition note: the male ferrule on the double-wrap tip is just slightly undersized. It shores up well with a bit of ferrule wax, but it's apparent and thus the rod is priced as a single tipper. Sold in the original bag with hangtag and heavy solid brass tube with makers roll stamp on the cap.
