Hanson, Leon - 7'9" 2/3 4wt Hollow Bamboo Rod

For sale here is a Leon Hanson 7'9" 2-piece / 3-tip 4wt hollow bamboo rod. Excellent used condition, one tip has a clear wrap between the tip top and the first snake guide, and the 3rd tip was made at the same time (by Leon). Medium tempered cane, fine wire snake guides and agate stripping guide wrapped in transparent silks with dark ripping. Micro-Swiss ferrules fit perfectly, and all sections are full length, straight & serialized (#1104). 5.5" cork grip is smooth with light soiling, and the rod is fitted with an up-sliding reel seat over dark wood spacer. Scripted and actual weight is 2.70oz. Medium fast dry fly action, this is a beautiful hollow built rod from Leon. Very light in the hand, it casts a DT4 with plenty of feel and quick recovery. Leon made a 4-compartment bag for this 3-tip rod, and it is sold in the original tube.
