Granger - Aristocrat 9050, 9' 3/2 Bamboo Rod

For sale here is a Goodwin Granger 9050 Aristocrat, 9' 3/2 bamboo rod in very good original condition. Ammoniated cane with oxidized guides wrapped in gold windings with dark brown tipping. All sections are straight and full length, and the ferrules fit perfectly. Varnish is in decent shape overall, with a few scattered chips/checks and a touch of softening/alligatoring on the mid and tips. The softening appears to have set back up and I don't think it requires immediate attention. 6.65" grip is slightly soiled with moderate ridging. The rod is fitted with the standard up-locking Granger patent reel seat (marked "Pat Pending"). Overall weight is 5.73oz. A strong 6/7wt, on the medium side of medium fast. Sold in the original bag and tube with mostly intact data label.
