For sale here is a Lyle Dickerson 7613, 7'6" 2/2 5wt bamboo rod in excellent condition. Made in 1964 for Kenneth Cunningham, the original owners name and date are inked on the butt section. Medium toned cane, oxidized guides and transparent brown windings with black tipping. All original except the ferrules look like they were reblued. All sections are full length and free of repairs, and one tip has a slight fish fighting set. Ferrules fit perfectly and there is a very slight, almost imperceptible rocking in the east-west axis. I cannot feel it while casting, and while this is worth noting I don't think it's something that needs to be addressed. 5 3/4" grip has been cleaned and displays light ridging. The rod is fitted with Dickerson's standard screw-lock reel seat over walnut spacer. Weight is 3.95oz. Progressive dry fly taper, certainly on the faster side of medium fast. One of the most capable 7'6" rods I've had the pleasure of casting, and a fantastic example of the desirable 7613 taper. Sold in the original fold over bag and aluminum tube with black plastic screw cap.
