Dickerson, Lyle - Model 7612, 7'6" 2/2 5wt Bamboo Rod

For sale here is a Lyle Dickerson 7612, 7'6" 2/2 5wt bamboo rod. Excellent condition, the wraps are original and received a light overcoat by Jim Schaaf. Medium toned cane with transparent brown windings and black tipping. Oxidized snake guides and petite red agate stripping guide. Blued ferrules fit perfectly, and all sections are straight & full length. There are 2 small dings to the cane above the stripping guide, although they appear to be minor. The original script is intact on the butt and reads "Dickerson - Bergman" and "E.B. Schryver 1937". 5" grip has been cleaned, and the rod is fitted with a cap & ring reel seat over mortised walnut spacer. The reel seat hardware is all nickel silver, an unusual thing to see on a Dickerson. One tip is ~1/8" longer than the other, and the guide spacing on the tips doesn't like up perfectly; neither feature is surprising and the rod appears to have been made this way. Weight is 3.25oz. Medium fast, progressive action. A lovely caster, best with a DT5. Sold in the original fold over bag and brass capped tube.
