For sale here is a Walt Carpenter 'Special', 7'6" 2/2 5wt bamboo rod in excellent original condition. The tag on the tube reads "No. 2, 2001". Medium tempered cane with reverse twist guides and red agate stripping guide. Wraps are transparent with red and variegated accents. Bright nickel silver ferrules fit perfectly, and the female is fitted with a NS ferrule plug. All sections are straight and full length. 5 3/4" cork grip is clean and smooth. Cap & ring reel seat over fine wood spacer, and the butt cap retains the makers roll stamp. Full working, medium action, best with a DT5. Weight is 3.25oz. A wonderful rod from Mr. Carpenter. Sold in the original bag & tube.
