Barclay, Chris - Paddock Lemon Drop 7'6" 3pc 4-5wt Fiberglass Rod

For sale here is a 7'6" 3pc 4-5wt fiberglass rod, built by Chris Barclay on a Fred Paddock "Lemon Drop" blank. Excellent used condition, built on a sanded transparent yellow blank with bright guides and yellow windings with light orange tipping. Spigot ferrules fit perfectly, and all sections are serialized (#088-14) & witness marked. All-cork grip & reel seat, the cork is smooth with light soiling, and the bright NS reel seat hardware shows just a bit of oxidization (this should clean up easily). The action is somewhat positive, especially for glass. It likes a DT5 in my hand and recovers quickly. Paddock's "Lemon Drop" rods have earned a great reputation, and this rod is a fine example. Barclay's finishes are excellent, and the rod packs into the original bag and tube.
