For sale here is an early Tibor Billy Pate anti-reverse fly reel in the Salmon size. A right hand wind reel in very good used condition. Mechanically perfect with a few marks from honest use. The cork drag is smooth and tight with tremendous range. Machined from solid aluminum bar stock and fully anodized to stand up to years of honorable service in the salt. Satin gold frame with jet black handle and spool. The anodizing on the frame has a small imperfection in the center of the face. Serial #295, which dates this reel to the mid/late 1970's. 3.5" diameter with a width of 1.5" (interior spool width is 0.75"). A fantastic reel for light saltwater work. Sold in the original shearling lined suede zipper case.
