For sale here is a Hardy Perfect 3 1/8" fly reel in good used condition. Ribbed brass foot, ebonite handle grasp and umblemished gray agate line guard. Tensioner works as intended. Mechanically sound with no end play; a very tight reel. The leading on the frame has completely worn away and the spool & winding plate have been reblued. The result is a stark color contrast between those parts. The foot also looks like it has been lightly filed in a few spots, though I have to look closely to see it. A suitable user, sold in a later-issue Hardy drawstring pouch. From the collection of Per G Brandin.
