For sale here is a rare 5'6" 3-pc 3wt "Rapier" fiberglass rod made by Dennis Franke. Neat mint condition, the rod appears to have been lawn cast only. Built on a dark green unsanded blank with bright guides wrapped hunter green w/ tan wraps at the ferrules. Spigot ferrules fit perfectly with gaps to allow for wear. All cork grip & reel seat. The cork is clean and smooth, and the black cap & ring hardware is pristine. Very pleasant medium fiberglass action, on the semi-parabolic side. It loads well with a DT3 and you can feel it flex into the grip. Franke's work is highly coveted, and you rarely see them in nearly new condition like this. An amazing glass rod to fish or collect. Sold in the original bag and tube with Glastech decal affixed.
